Jenny Moores

Whoop! Beginning her undergraduate work at Texas A&M University, Dr. Moores moved on to her masters program at Texas State and finished her doctoral studies at Alliant International University's California School of Professional Psychology Program. Her research on "Childhood Near-Death Experiences and Psychotherapy" won an award for meeting the California Mental Health Services Act requirements.

While well-versed in academics, Jenny practiced as a masters level counselor focusing on women and children who experienced physical and sexual abuse. Now she conducts evaluations, designs treatment plans, and facilitates child and family therapy.

Her masters work on "Play Therapy" has continued to find relevance in a world where few children are able to articulate with words, the state of their emotions. Using something with which children are entirely familiar, toys, Jenny has been able to employe an entirely new "language" through play to allow children to express their inner needs.
